What We Do
The Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation provides eyeglasses, eye surgeries and hearing aids to Georgians in financial need. Volunteer optometrists and ophthalmologists provide eye exams at our mobile clinic. We partner with 19 free clinic locations throughout the state to provide over 5000 pairs of eyeglasses a year. In addition, we send 100,000 pairs of eyeglasses abroad annually.
Who We Impact
Our services have life-changing implications, helping to increase the independence and quality of life for individuals with hearing or vision loss in financial need. 75% of eye surgery patients are able to retain or obtain a job after receiving our services.
