Shereé Whitfield with a keen sense of style, fervor for fitness, and determined drive is single-handedly redefining the term “housewife” for women of the new millennium. As star of the hit Bravo reality series “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” the single mother of three is anything but your average stay-at-home-mom. With a host of fitness projects, upcoming stage and film roles, and as the creative force behind the popular women’s apparel line, She by Shereé, Whitfield proves that the contemporary woman can follow her dreams, both in and out of the home, and truly have it all.
Since being crowned Miss United States 2010, Jessica has raised over $400,000 for charities across the US. Anyone who has watched Jessica in action knows that if you need to raise funds or awareness for a cause just put the microphone in her hands. She’s volunteers for organizations such as Children’s Miracle Network, Hands on Atlanta, Big Brother Big Sisters Program, Toys for Tots and Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. She enjoys working hard to empower young women. Even before her win, Jessica was no stranger to the spotlight. Her background includes 14 years of dance experience; she’s performed at Walt Disney world in Orlando Florida, the 1996 Olympics and a number of college football bowl games. She’s also modeled for Liz Claiborne, Jovani, Tony Bowls, Sherri Hill, and Jonathan Kayne and has been featured on national networks like MTV, HGTV and Lifetime Television.
E. Vincent Martinez is the founder of the popular fashion blog, fashionado. Launched in 2009, the fashion-inspired website has grown to include celebrity interviews, movie reviews, travel, entertainment and lifestyle, following Martinez through all of his fabulous adventures and parties. In 2010, fashionado was named “Best Fashion Blog” by the Atlanta Fashion Awards and made a prestigious list of the “Top 100 Fashion Bloggers Worldwide” by Sparkah in NYC. For ten years he has worked at Grady High School were he founded the UrbanCouture fashion program. The acclaimed and highly anticipated Doggies on the Catwalk fashion event, where celebrities and their dogs show off fashion looks, is a product of Martinez as well.
Stephanie Davis Smith is the Editor in Chief of The Atlantan and Contributing Editor to Jezebel and Executive Editor of Men’s Book Atlanta. Before coming to The Atlantan, Smith was the National Web Editor for skirt!.com. She launched Get Married Magazine, a bridal magazine with a 300,000 circulation started by Get Married TV and GetMarried.com in 2009. Prior to that she was the Editor-in-Chief of skirt! Magazine in Atlanta. A writer and editor who was formerly on staff at GQ and SELF magazines, she has also written for Gourmet, Domino, Air Tran’s Go, Details, Allure, Brides, Pink, Vitals Woman and MSN.com.
