Event Overview
Night of Spectacles raises money for thousands of uninsured Georgians who receive sight-saving eye surgeries, eye glasses and eye exams from the Lighthouse every year.
The event features:

- A scholarship challenge for student-designed dresses made from recycled eyeglasses.

- A runway show featuring the dresses, modeled by Atlanta optometrists and ophthalmologists.

- Local celebrity judges picking the winning dress. 2012 judges included Shereé Whitfield of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and fashion blogger Vincent Martinez.

- Hundreds of silent auction items as well as a live auction. Last year’s highlights included an African photo safari, Italian villa getaways, and a walk-on role for Drop Dead Diva.

- A catered reception that makes for good food, good company, and a worthwhile cause.
